Your child will go from beginner to builder in this fun, interactive coding course! Starting with ScratchJr and progressing to Scratch — both free and fully browser-based with nothing to download — students create animations, interactive stories, and simple games while building real problem-solving skills. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) introduces block-based coding, sequences, and creative projects. Part 2 (4 weeks) advances into loops, events, and more complex Scratch projects. Ideal for 1st and 2nd graders who are ready to explore coding in a fun, supportive environment. ⏰ Duration: 45 minutes per week 👥 Max Students: 10 🎯 Perfect for: 1st -2nd grade ***Classes will be held on Tuesdays***
Introduce your little one to the world of coding through play, creativity, and storytelling! They'll learn the core building blocks of programming including loops, conditionals, variables, and events. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) covers game design fundamentals and core coding concepts. Part 2 (4 weeks) dives deeper into multi-scene games, scoring systems, and polished final projects. The most advanced course in the Coding Sprout curriculum — built for high schoolers who are serious about technology. Students write professional-level Python following real industry standards, using VS Code or Replit — both free with no required downloads. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) covers professional Python including functions, data structures, file I/O, and object-oriented programming. Part 2 (4 weeks) dives into inheritance, algorithms, and a full capstone application students can add to their portfolio. This course prepares students for AP Computer Science, college programming courses, and real-world tech careers. ⏰ Duration: 90 minutes per week 👥 Max Students: 18 🎯 Perfect for: 9th -12th grade ***Classes will be held on Friday***

Students work in Scratch and Code.org's App Lab — both free and browser-based with zero downloads needed — building more complex games, apps, and interactive projects. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) advances Scratch skills and introduces text-based logic through Code.org. Part 2 (4 weeks) focuses on app design, data, and building a complete capstone project. Using Replit, a free browser-based coding environment with nothing to download or install, students go from their very first line of code to building complete programs. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) covers Python fundamentals including variables, data types, loops, and conditionals. Part 2 (4 weeks) advances into functions, lists, and a final capstone project students will be proud to show off.
