Does your child love video games? Now they can build their own! Using Scratch — free and fully browser-based with no downloads required — students design and code their own playable games from scratch. They'll learn the core building blocks of programming including loops, conditionals, variables, and events. This is a 2-part course. Part 1 (4 weeks) covers game design fundamentals and core coding concepts. Part 2 (4 weeks) dives deeper into multi-scene games, scoring systems, and polished final projects. Great for 3rd graders who are creative, curious, and ready for a real coding challenge. ⏰ Duration: 45 minutes per week 👥 Max Students: 12 🎯 Perfect for: 3rd Grade ***Classes will be held on Thursday***
